Objective: Learn about those that have made great contributions to our biological understanding by making an 8.5 x 11 flyer celebrating their most important achievement. Due Date: Friday, October 4th Directions: 1. Draw to see which biologist you will be researching 2. Use the websites / databases that Ms. Zadeh showed you 3. Research the following information: (12 points) a. Where they are from b. When they were born c. Why we should care about them (what they contributed to our understanding of biology) d. How their work has impacted the world e. Any other interesting fact f. A photo or illustration of your biologist 4. Include an MLA bibliography for your sources - including the photo! (6 points) 5. Use Word or Publisher to create your finished (meaning proofread) 8.5x11 poster.
